Online advising sessions are limited to HEA Scholars and not open to the public.  Sessions include professional advising on applying to universities, writing personal essays (statements of purpose), submitting of documents, getting a visa, and a pre-departure orientation, including preparing for study and life abroad and achieving academic success.

1. The universities in a relationship with Higher Ed Abroad trust HEA, its Founders, and HEA efforts to build opportunities in international education. 

2. HEA universities are excellent destinations with good academic qualities and rankings, and they are eager to have international students. These universities tend to have lower costs for tuition/fees and lower costs of living.

3. Each HEA Scholar is identified individually to universities as a fine candidate for consideration.

2. The Founders live in the countries where the universities are located and are familiar with the university settings.
